Kick-off is at 19h00 CAT

Blue Bulls will take on Phakisa Pumas in a Super Rugby Unlocked match at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on November 20.

The Bulls secured a 30-25 victory over Golden Lions away in their previous match which was played on November 7.

The win extended Bulls’ unbeaten run to three matches in the competition having recorded three consecutive wins.

The Pretoria giants are placed at the top of the standings having accumulated 19 points from five matches.

Jake White, the Bulls head coach, praised his charges following their hard-fought victory over the Lions.

“It’s always tough to win away from home and that was a fantastic away win,” White said.

“I was really proud of the second-half performance – after a lot of disruptions having to change our hooker on Thursday and then losing both props, plus a flank in the first five minutes.

“For the other guys to produce 40 minutes like that when they haven’t had much time together as a unit was phenomenal.”

Meanwhile, Pumas suffered a 42-19 defeat to Sharks at home in their previous match which was played on October 31.

The Pumas are now winless in their last two matches in the competition having recorded two successive defeats.

The Mpumalanga-based side is placed sixth on the standings having accumulated five points from four matches.

The last time the Bulls and Pumas clashed in a competitive match was on 26 July 2019.

The Bulls defeated the Pumas 25-17 in a Currie Cup match which was played at the Mbombela Stadium.
