Injury setback for All Blacks and Wallabies

Injury setback for all blacks

Rieko Ioane and Ryan Crotty have both been ruled out of the New Zealand squad’s second match against Australia due to injury. Crotty sustained a concussion on Saturday and Ioane left the field early with a hamstring injury.

The All Blacks Coach Steve Hansen confirmed that neither player will be considered for selection in the upcoming match this Saturday.

But, Australia also has nothing to smile about with Israel Falau also being ruled out of selection. Falau limped off the pitch on Saturday in the 65th minute with Wallabies Coach Michael Cheika confirming he has a small muscle tear. Cheika says it is not a long-term injury and is hopeful Falau will be ready to face the Springboks in Brisbane.
